Krispy Kreme announced Thursday that it will bring back its Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut this upcoming weekend, Sept. 20-22, to celebrate the official arrival of fall.
The doughnuts will be available individually or by the dozen in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website, the company said in a news release.
“People love our Pumpkin Spice Latte and Cake doughnut, but Pumpkin Spice Season is not complete without the incredible Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut," said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme's Global Chief Brand Officer, in the news release.
"These are the only three days our famous PSOG will be offered, so visit Krispy Kreme this weekend for the ultimate pumpkin spice experience,” he added.

Krispy Kreme is also offering discounted dozens
In order to "further sweeten the weekend," Krispy Kreme is also offering customers an Original Glazed dozen for $2 with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts at regular price at participating shops.
There is a limited of two per customer in-shop and one per customer online for pickup and delivery. Online customers can use the promo code "BOGO2."
Krispy Kreme introduces Golden Harvest Collection
Earlier this week, the doughnut chain also introduced its Golden Harvest Collection, a collection of three all-new doughnuts and a returning flavor "deliciously perfect for the onset of fall," the company said in a news release.
Available now and for a limited time at participating shops, the collection "enables doughnut lovers to savor the sweet and spiced flavors of season," according to Krispy Kreme.
The collection includes:
- (NEW) Maple Buttercreme Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut topped with maple flavored buttercreme and fall sprinkles.
- (NEW) Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut with white cream filling, dipped in cookie dough icing and streusel topping, with a dollop of white cream and a bite sized oatmeal cookie.
- (NEW) Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut topped with a swirl of cream cheese buttercreme and dulce de leche flavored filling, sprinkled with salted caramel flavored crunch.
- Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut: A cinnamon sugar doughnut filled with spiced apple filling.
The Golden Harvest dozens are available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website. The new doughnuts are also available in a special 6-count box delivered fresh daily to select retailers. Customers can use the Krispy Kreme location finder to find a shop or grocery location near you.
Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte also available at Krispy Kreme
Customers can also get into the autumnal spirit by getting the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte, which were added to the menu last month for a limited time.
The Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut is "the perfect combination of crumbly cake and pumpkin spice flavor," according to the company, and can be purchased individually or as a specialty dozen.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is available hot, iced, or frozen, and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice seasoning.
The items are available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website, according to a news release.
